Dan Pervorse

Lead Pastor

Dan and Dorilee Pervorse have been married for 27 years. Dorilee is a wonderful stepmom to Dan's 3 adult sons and together they have two adopted daughters - Liz and Selam. Pastor Dan has served in the non-profit world, as faculty at a major university and has been a small business owner. He has also been involved in over 50 short term mission projects around the world since 1998. 

Pastor Dan has served as the director/pastor of CAYA Reconciliation Ministries in Dallas Georgia serving the under-resourced residents of Paulding County, GA since 2011. He has also been serving as Lead pastor of Church of the Vine since January 2017.

Pastor Dan is passionate about preaching God's word, leading others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and discipling others to help them mature in their faith. He loves to go on dates with his wife and each of his daughters, and spend time in the outdoors hunting, hiking and enjoying the grandeur and beauty of God's magnificent creation.

Nick Hudson

Youth and Young Adults

Nick Hudson has been attending The Church of the Vine since 2011, shortly after becoming a follower of Christ.  He began serving in the student ministry shortly after joining the church which eventually lead to his role as the Student and Young Adult Pastor in July of 2015. In his role, Nick is able to pursue his passion of seeing young people grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.

Since September of 2019, Nick has served on the Board of Directors at CAYA Reconciliation Ministries and is an active participant in many of CAYA’s outreach events throughout the year.

Additionally, Nick is a high school teacher in Paulding County and serves as a faculty sponsor for FCA at his school. He was blessed to marry his wife Kim in June of 2019.

In his spare time Nick enjoys spending time with his wife, playing golf, has an interest in all things Star Wars (especially Baby Yoda), and is also an avid fan of all things Atlanta Sports.

Keith Richardson

Worship Team leader

Keith and Cindy Richardson have been married 29 years. They have a son, Brian, and a daughter, Eva . Keith has been playing music since he was 11 years old. He is a Senior Manager at Aerospace Fabrications of Georgia and has worked there for over 20 years. Cindy has also been playing music since she was a young child, playing the oboe, bassoon and piano. She is a graduate of Auburn University with a Masters degree in music education. She is the choral director at South Paulding High School and has been teaching for over 20 years.

They have been leading worship music together for more than 15 years. Brian has been playing drums with them since the eighth grade, and Eva has been singing and playing bass with them since the ninth grade. Keith and Cindy decided since it is so hard to find musicians, they would just raise their own. They love serving the Lord together.
